Food & Drink Innovation Network ? K SHOCOLAT UNVEILS NEW ...

September 9th, 2011

International chocolate brand K Shocol?t has signed several key high-end retailers in the run up to its new brand relaunch this month.

The new range from K Shocol?t will be stocked across the UK and Europe after the company secured deals with John Lewis, Waitrose, House of Fraser, Debenhams, Galleries Lafayette, La Grande Epicerie de Paris and Monoprix.

These retailers will be the first to reveal the new K Shocol?t brand to the public after it carried out a full review of the range and a complete redesign of its logo, packaging and range this year.

K Shocol?t Brand Manager, Vicki Chislett, said:

?When we took the new range to potential retailers for the first time we were confident in the new brand style, product quality and consumer appeal and were excited to see buyers? reactions.

?We?re thrilled with the number of retailers who are keen to sell the new range and hopefully consumers will be just as excited as we are to see K Shocol?t back on the shelves.?

The new refreshed range includes additions such as Pink Marc de Champagne Truffles, the ?Just Desserts? Slab Collection and The Little Treat Collection, designed for self-treat or small gifts, including Milk Chocolate Covered Pretzels, White Belgian Chocolate Covered Raspberries and Chocolate Covered Honeycomb.

Having undergone a revamp the Dipping Collection, Cocktail Truffle Collection, After Dinner Collection, Hot Choc tins, Milk Chocolate covered Almonds and Chocolate covered Chilli Pecans all make a return.

K Shocol?t attended the Speciality & Fine Food Fair at London?s Olympia this week in order to showcase the brand re-launch and engage with key trade channels including delis, independent retailers, restaurants, hotels and distributors.

Ms Chislett added: ?We are really proud of the new chocolate brand image and collection of products and hope that by expanding it to include new flavours and gifts, we?ll be able to attract an even wider range of new clientele.?

Established in 2003, K Shocol?t a growing premium chocolate brand and was the first company to bring the ?chilli chocolate? and ?lemon and black pepper? flavours to the UK.

It was acquired by parent company Bon Bon Buddies Ltd in 2010 and they unveiled the new brand for the first time earlier this year at ISM 2011.

The company is aiming to increase distribution of K Shocol?t?s products in high-end retailers and boost interest in the online site, as well as launching the establishing the brand firmly across European markets, where Bon Bon Buddies already has a strong presence with its core range of Childrens Character licensed confectionary products.
