Shopping List Of Muscle Building | Bodybuilding, Supplements ...

?Protein
Is your diet holding you back?Good Sources of Protein

??? Eggs ? Grand daddy of all foods. I like to have 1 whole egg for every 3 whites. So breakfast might include 6 egg whites and 2 whole eggs.
??? Liquid Egg Whites ? This is just pure egg whites. More convenient than cracking all the eggs and discarding the yolk but will cost you a little more.
??? Skinless Chicken Breast or Cutlets ? Lean inexpensive high quality protein, Staple of every diet.
??? Lean Ground Turkey ? Lean high quality protein. Little more expensive than chicken breast.
??? Top Round Steak ? Lean cut of meat. Has more fat than chicken but great source of meat. Definitely something you want to have in the off-season and can be eaten while dieting in moderation.
??? Filet Mignon ? Tasty lean cut of meat. Expensive but worth it every once in a while.
??? Buffalo ? Lean red meat, very tasty but super expensive. Give it a try.
??? Founder ? Inexpensive lean fish.
??? Cod ? Inexpensive lean fish.
??? Pollack ? Lean fish.
??? Wild Salmon ? Healthy fatty fish. I get my salmon wild because the quality is a lot better but that results in a higher cost.
??? Canned Tuna ? Lean inexpensive fish. If you worry about your sodium you might want to cut down on this. Make sure you get the one in water not oil.
??? Turkey Bacon ? Leaner than regular bacon, not something I have all the time but I am a bacon lover so adding this to my breakfast in the off-season is something I like.
??? Lean Ground Beef ? Make sure you get something that is at least 90% lean. This can be a great off-season source of protein.
??? Cottage Cheese ? Slow digesting form of protein. Great for having when you have to go a long time in-between meals and also excellent to have before bed.
??? Pork Tenderloin ? Inexpensive Lean protein.
??? Wild Sea Bass ? Lean high quality protein. Expensive side.
??? Wild Swordfish ? Lean high quality protein. Expensive.

Protein Sources That You Should Stay Away From

??? Skinned Chicken ? The skin just adds extra fat that you don?t need.
??? Breaded Chicken ? The bread crumbs adds simple carbs that you don?t need.
??? Deli Meat ? Made with too many chemicals. Low quality of meat.
??? Bacon ? Too fatty, but so tasty, I love this food but it is not the best for you.
??? Farmed Fish ? Have more cancer causing agents, less omega 3?s than wild fish, recent studies show that the farm raised fish?s fat is very unhealthy.
??? Fatty Ground Beef ? Any ground beef that is below 85% is too fatty for me. Yes they make tasty burgers or meat balls but that amount of fat is just too high to have on a regular basis.
??? Fatty Cuts of Red Meat ? Just look at the steaks, if the outside of the steak has some fat on it but the body of the steak is all red than that is fine. All you have to do with those steaks is cut the fat off the edges. If the body of the steak is riddle with white fat you are getting a low quality highly fatty steak that might taste good but won?t be good for you.

Carbohydrates
Good Sources of Carbohydrates

??? Oatmeal ? I like the slow cooked version but the quick one minute is fine. I have oatmeal with my first meal every day. It is a great slow digesting carb.
??? Steal Cut Oats ? Similar to oatmeal. Slow dDigesting carb.
??? Fruit ? All fruits are great but some are better than other for different reasons. Blueberries are at the top of the list for antioxidants and bananas are great for post-workout carbs. The majority of they digest faster than complex carbs so they are best used in the AM or pre and post-workout.
??? Vegetables ? Like fruit you really cant go wrong when you eat veggies. During the off-season all veggies are great to have but when you are looking to diet I stick with just the green ones as they have less calories and net carbs. Veggies are a great source of fiber. Try to have some in every meal.
??? Sweet Potatoes/Yams ? Tasty slow digesting carb. Add a little Splenda and you will be in heaven.
??? Brown Rice ? Staple of a slow digesting carb.
??? White Rice ? Faster digesting carb. Not a big fan as I think the brown rice is better overall option but white rice is good to have in the off-season as it gives you the ability to bring in the carbs and calories need to grow.
??? Whole Wheat Bread ? I like to have Ezekiel Bread as it is not processed and not made with white flour. Great slow digesting carb.
??? Cream of Wheat ? Substitute for white rice. Faster digesting carb.
??? Cream of Rice ? Substitute for white rice. Faster digesting carb.

Carbohydrates That You Should Stay Away From

??? Cereal ? Most cereals today are loaded with sugar. Oatmeal is a better option add some blueberries and Splenda to it and I promise it will be as sweet as you need on top of that you will be getting a much healthier carb source.
??? Candy ? Loaded with sugar.
??? Chips ? Loaded with simple carbs and bad fats.
??? Ice Cream ? Loaded with sugar.
??? Soda ? Diet version is fine but the regular stuff is just sugar water.
??? Sugar Juice ? I am not a big believer in any kind of juice even most fruit juices as they are mainly sugar water. I would rather eat the entire fruit which has all the nutrients and better for you.

Healthy Fats
Good Sources of Fats

??? Olive Oil/Flaxseed Oil ? Great source of fat. Great to add to dishes.
??? Fish Oil ? Staple source of healthy fats.
??? Almond Butter/Cashew Butter ? Derived from the nuts but a good source of fat.
??? Almonds ? Great source of fat and small amount of protein.
??? Pecans ? Great source of fat and small amount of protein.
??? Walnuts ? Great source of fat and small amount of protein.
??? Cashews ? Great source of fat and small amount of protein.
??? Natural Peanut Butter ? Not processed. Great source of fat and some protein. Love adding this to my shakes during the day.
??? Avacados ? Healthy fat source. Love it in my sushi.

Fats You Should Stay Away From

??? Fried Anything ? I know that the government is making restaurants get rid of making saturated and trans fats in fried foods but you should still just stay away from fried food.
??? Butter and Margarine ? Not healthy to add to the bread. Add oil instead.
??? Palm Oil and Coconut Oil ? Not a healthy fat source.
??? Vegetable Shortening ? Not a healthy fat source.

Report: 'Rhoda' star Valerie Harper has inoperable brain cancer

NEW YORK -- Valerie Harper, who played Rhoda Morgenstern on television's "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and its spinoff, "Rhoda," has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

People magazine reported on its website Wednesday that the 73-year-old actress received the news on Jan. 15. Tests revealed she has leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, a rare condition that occurs when cancer cells spread into the fluid-filled membrane surrounding the brain. The report says Harper's doctors have said she has as little as three months to live.

"I don't think of dying," Harper told the magazine in a cover interview. "I think of being here now."

Harper's character, Rhoda, was one of television's most beloved characters during the 1970s, and the tart-tongued, self-deprecating Rhoda made Harper a star. She won three consecutive Emmys (1971-73) as supporting actress on "Mary" plus another for outstanding lead actress for "Rhoda," which ran from 1974-78.

Harper began show business as a dancer in several Broadway musicals, and worked in summer stock and with the Second City improv group.

"I was a dancer but I was always a little overweight," she once told The Associated Press. "I'd say, 'Hello, I'm Valerie Harper and I'm overweight.' I'd say it quickly before they could. ... I always got called chubby, my nose was too wide, my hair was too kinky."

Accordingly, she played Rhoda at first as a plump, wisecracking contrast to slender, winsome

Mary Richards. But as "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" evolved, Rhoda trimmed down and her own brand of beauty was acknowledged.

The character was wildly popular and soon inspired her own CBS sitcom, which saw Rhoda moving back home to New York City and even getting married.

After her success on TV, Harper returned to theater. Several TV movie and feature films followed, including "Chapter Two" and "Blame It on Rio."

In 2000, she reunited with Moore in a TV film, "Mary and Rhoda."

"Rhoda Morgenstern gave a wonderful impetus and propulsion to my career," she told the AP in 2001.

At the time, she had stepped into the role originated by former "Alice" star Linda Lavin in the Broadway comedy "The Tale of the Allergist's Wife."

Harper played what she described as "an angst-ridden Woman of a Certain Age," and she likened that character to Rhoda, whose shared creed, she said, is "Get into life, and enjoy it. Just stop with the white knuckles and relax. Be OK with yourself."

In recent years, Harper had guest roles on several TV series, and in 2010 was back on Broadway playing Tallulah Bankhead, a flamboyant star from Hollywood's Golden Age.

AP Drama Critic Michael Kuchwara wrote that "Harper submerges the iconic Rhoda Morgenstern" and "has a ferocious sense of comic timing."

In January, Harper published a new memoir, "I, Rhoda."

U.N. set to crack down on North Korea financing, illicit cargo

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - In response to North Korea's third nuclear test, the U.N. Security Council is set to tighten financial restrictions on North Korea and crack down on Pyongyang's attempts to ship and receive banned cargo in violation of existing sanctions.

The measures are included in a draft sanctions resolution which the United States delivered to the council on Tuesday. The nine-page text was the product of three weeks of negotiations between the United States and China in response to North Korean's third nuclear test on February 12.

The 15-nation council plans to put it to a vote on Thursday at 10 a.m. EST, Russian U.N. Ambassador Vitaly Churkin, council president for March, said on Wednesday.

The resolution, which council diplomats say is intended to bring the North Korea sanctions regime more in line with tough U.N. measures in place against Iran, would have the council "expressing the gravest concern at the nuclear test conducted by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea)."

But the success of the new measures, council diplomats say, will depend to a large extent on the willingness of North Korea's ally China to enforce them.

Council diplomats say the U.N. sanctions regime against Iran over its nuclear program, which Western powers and their allies say is intended for making weapons but Tehran says is peaceful, has been more effective than the restrictions on Pyongyang. That, they say, is why they used the Iran measures as a model.

The U.S.-drafted North Korea resolution, if adopted, would impose an obligation on the United Nations' 193 member states to block any financial services or monetary transfers that "could contribute to the DPRK's nuclear or ballistic missile programs."

It specifically mentions "bulk cash" transfers, which council diplomats say is one of Pyongyang's preferred methods of moving cash - often in briefcases carried by its diplomats.

The resolution would also impose a binding obligation on countries to "not provide public financial support for trade with the DPRK" if it could in any way support North Korea's nuclear or missile work.

The new resolution would further make inspections of suspicious land, sea or air cargo - including luxury goods intended for the North Korean elite - mandatory. Until now, such inspections have been voluntary.

Similar measures were included in resolution 1929, the council's last sanctions resolution against Iran. Western diplomats say those measures have proven to be surprisingly effective in complicating Iran's efforts to skirt sanctions and raise funds for its nuclear and missile programs.

U.N. BLACKLIST

Pyongyang was hit with U.N. sanctions for its 2006 and 2009 nuclear tests, measures that were subsequently tightened and expanded after several rocket launches. In addition to the luxury goods ban, there is an arms embargo on North Korea, and it is forbidden from trading in nuclear and missile technology.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice said on Tuesday that the new draft resolution "builds up, strengthens and significantly expands the scope of the strong U.N. sanctions already in place" on North Korea.

She said the new sanctions would target "the illicit activities of North Korean diplomatic personnel, North Korean banking relationships, (and) illicit transfers of bulk cash."

The resolution also calls for asset freezes and travel bans on the chief representative of the Korea Mining Development Trading Corporation (KOMID), North Korea's main arms dealer which has been under U.N. sanctions since 2009, and his deputy.

Also to be blacklisted is an official at Tanchon Commercial Bank. Tanchon was added to the U.N. blacklist in 2009 as the main North Korean financier for Pyongyang's arms trade.

Two North Korean entities will also be blacklisted - the Second Academy of Natural Sciences and the Korea Complex Equipment Import Corporation, a subsidiary of Korea Ryonbong General Corporation. Both are linked to North Korea's military, the draft resolution says.

The resolution specifies some of the luxury items North Korea is not allowed to import, such as yachts, racing cars, luxury automobiles and certain types of jewelry. This is intended to repair a loophole which allowed countries to decide for themselves what constitutes a luxury good.

Provisions of the new resolution encourage states to expel North Korean diplomats engaging in illicit activity on their territories.

Rebecca with an R: Love/Hate Relationships

I've been meaning to do another one of these posts, but I could only come up with things I hate. What does that say about my character? I promise I'm generally an?optimistic?person. So I'm just going to wing the love section today.

Love

1// My Capri Blue Volcano Candle. It moves with me throughout the house. The coffee table while watching shows, the night stand while laying in bed, the corner of the bathtub while enjoying a soak.
2// I guess that brings me to point number 2. Baths. Baths are great.. when the ultimate purpose it not to actually get clean. Baths are great went the purpose is to get warm. However, even though our bath is unusually large for an apartment, (As is our bathroom. I can literally do cartwheels in there. Literally. And I do not use that word unless it actually means literally.) it's still not quite big enough to actually keep one's entire self warm all at once. My dream house has a big bathtub and a fireplace. Those are my only two requirements. Apparently I'm a really cold person.
3// The fact that winter finally showed up in Colorado, and we've gotten quite a few snow storms in the last month. (We had some cold days but most of our winter was sunny and ventured up in to the 60s)

Hate

1// The fact that winter finally showed up in Colorado, and we've gotten quite a few snow storms in the last month. (Yeah yeah, the white was great and cozy. But now I'm ready for warm weather.)
2// Missed belt loops. Missed belt loops on me. Missed belt loops on you. Aren't they just the worst? Is it wrong of me to have a very strong desire to go and tell people when they've missed a belt loop? Do they even care?
3// The fact that I conduct insane amounts of electricity. I have shocked Jason so terribly when he's come to give me a kiss that we jumped back, grabbing our lips while wincing?in pain. It has happened so frequently that I've taken to tapping his shoulder or cheek before we kiss to ensure that the lips do not suffer the brunt of the shock. Because shocked lips are the worst!

How Often Are You Single? - Empty Closets - A safe online ...

I've actually dated quite a bit. My first relationship was when I was 13. I was in a relationship with a guy and it lasted for 9 months. I know 13 seems too young, but we saw each other all the time. I broke up with him because he was too immature for me. It did hurt a lot but I always wondered why it only took me a few weeks to get over it. XD

Once I got into high school, my whole life changed. I realized I liked girls and I dated 4 girls in high school. The first one I fell in love with, and I was in love with her for 2 years. The 2nd one was controlling and unpredictable. The 3rd one was my best friend at the time. I realized I didn't love her the way she loved me, so I broke things off. I still feel bad about that. The 4th one was my first serious relationship. It lasted on-and-off for about 3 years. She actually left me because she started going back to church. I guess I'm still recovering from that. :/

But anyway, I've been single for 2 years now. I've had people (even friends) ask me out on a date, but I'm just not interested. I'm a bit picky, especially personality wise. :x
Several months ago, I actually tried dating the girl I broke things off with to see if maybe I could develop feelings for her. But there was still nothing there. So I had to break things off again. ._.

TimeGate Studios sheds 25 staff | bit-gamer.net

TimeGate Studios sheds 25 staff

TimeGate's most recent efforts contributed to Aliens: Colonial Marines, which has been met with general disappointment by the gaming community.

TimeGate Studios has let go of approximately 25 of its staff according to Polygon.

The studio, which was partly responsible for development on the much anticipated and mostly disappointing Aliens: Colonial Marines, has made the job cuts as part of its preparations for the next console generation.

The layoffs were also made in the wake of a publishing deal falling through for the studio earlier this year.

'We had to make the difficult decision to let go of some great game developers. This is never easy, and we're doing all we can to assist those developers affected,' said TimeGate president Adel Chaveleh in a statement. 'TimeGate is preparing, as is the entire industry, for the transition to next-generation consoles and new business models. As part of this reinvention, all projects and strategic initiatives continue to move forward at the studio.'

Aliens: Colonial Marines looks like it will be well remembered in gaming infamy as a massively hyped title that failed to deliver, along similar lines as Gearbox's other recent resurrection of Duke Nukem Forever.

According to Gearbox co-founder Randy Pitchford, TimeGate studios were responsible for the same amount of work on the title as Gearbox were. Reports that have trickled out following the launch of Colonial Marines suggest that the two studios did not work very well together on the project.

TimeGate's other work includes the F.E.A.R expansions and the Section 8 games.

Electronic Arts also recently made cuts in its studios in Los Angeles, Montreal and some of its smaller studios, citing the same reason of preparing for the next console generation for the job losses.
